ONE STEP CLOSER

All the sheet rock, taping, and texture is done. We are now ready to install the flooring. Tomorrow we will start that . Today we started unloading the pod and putting some of it into the storage. All I can say is.....this is not fun!! It is hot out, we had a storm last night and may have another tonight so, it is humid. Need I say more????? We are not that far from the Texas coast and they are bracing for Alex. Be he hurricane or tropical storm he will surely have some heavy winds and rain
That's the update for now, pardon me but I'm off to take a nap!!!

Wow, it's starting to look like a room, so nice. I'm so excited for you. It'll be so nice when it' s finished and you get all your stuff in there. I hope you didn't get any damage from the storm. Have a great holiday weekend.

Good luck with the weather! Remodeling is hard enough without all the heat and storms.

Sandy, Gorgeous! I've looked down through the past few posts you've shown with the photos of your progress with the new room. What color wall paint did you decide on?

Thank you for responding to my last post of ventfull frustration! That evening's meeting was especially trying for me and I don't always know how to deal. I guess one too many stressors was activated in one and 1/2 hours.

But I did feel better after I got it all out... all of it. I was at least able to go upstairs and fall asleep peacefully.

Thanks (as always) for your friendship first and for your support second...
Hugs,
Penny Sue

How exciting to see those plans come to life!

Won't be long now and you will be settled in for a lovely, hopefully cooler, Fall.
