SWEET HOME ALABAMA!!

Yesterday Jen and I hopped into the car and traveled to Alabama to visit our dear friends Nancy and Rob. This the view from their great room looking out to the ADORABLE screen room and her beautiful azaleas! Nancy and I became friends when she worked at my home away from home.....Home Depot. We share a passion for decorating and just enjoy getting into lots of trouble together (the fun kind of course.!)

So we are here for about 5 days and will be going to the Arts and Crafts Festival today in Fairhope, a nice upscale little community just outside Mobile.

We're off to see the sights!!

Love that photo.. Makes you want a nice cold glass of lemonaid and a pretty hat and go out to roam the yard looking at the lovely flowers.. Have fun with your friend and bring back tons of photos to share, then we will all feel as if we were with you..

Hey Miss Sandy... You cannot leave us alone for too long... we miss you. Is everything OK? Please let us know what's going on with you. Is everything OK with your Mom? I know that there was some concern not to far nback, and I was just wondering if everything was ok. Hugs honey, Penny Sue (And P.S. - I can't wait to see what you're working on now.)

Hi Miss Sady, Are you home yet you world traveler you? I'll have to post some new pics of the progress being made in my kitchen renovation. I'll be cleaning up as much of the mess as I possibly can before I take those pics. It might take a couple of days... since I work later in the afternoon and evenings. I hope you are ok? I've missed hearing from you.

Hugs, Penny Sue

I just found your beautiful blog! Love it! I noticed that you are a relatively new blogger -- me, too! I have so much to learn, but when I see a beautiful blog from another newbie, I'm inspired to think that I might eventually get a handle on this! Thanks! And start blogging some more! XO!

My dear Miss Sandy,
Just stopping by to let you know I'm thinking of you and I still miss you. Life is full and busy, but I'm not doing so well at keeping up. Sometimes, I think I take on more than I should. I'm hoping to have my shop opened by the Memorial Weekend. I battle with my head, my heart and my energy. Hugs, Penny Sue

Hi Sandy, Well, at least I know you're alive and well. Even if you don't post anything... :) I'm still missing you. How are things? Are you keeping busy with the springtime things that come along at this time of year?

Thank you so much for the hug. I really appreciated it and needed it. Sometimes I feel so completely bogged down with life and wierd stuff that I forget to focus on what is positive. The Lord is so good to me. I need to stop wasting all this time being "blue". But, every once in a while, it gets to be more than I can cajole myself out of.

Hugs right back at you my Dear!

Regarding your comment. My delphinium dies back in the winter but comes back in the spring. I have no idea why yours wouldn't????
